C&S Leader Korode dies
Chairman/Leader of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Surulere District Headquarters Senior Special Apostle Dr. Sunday Funsho Korode is dead.
Korode, 73, died on Sunday, November 26, 2023, according to a statement by the Deputy District General Secretary, Special Ap. Past. B.O. Alaka.
It said the late church leader who is from the illustrious Korode family of Omu Aran, Kwara State was a special and invaluable gift to the family, the Christian world and the church where he served as the Choir Master General for 44 years from where he rose to become the Chairman/General Leader of the Church in August 2015.
The statement reads: “Prophet S.F. Korode was a reputable banker, distinguished human resources specialist, former registrar of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and an accomplished consultant who crowned his meritorious career as Group Director, Human Resources at IGI Insurance Nigeria from where he retired into full time Ministry.
The late Korode is survived by wife, Margret Korode, children, grandchildren and relations.
