FG Inaugurates Passport Production Centre In Osun

The Federal Government of Nigeria has promised to address the challenges encountered by Nigerians in applying for and obtaining the Nigerian Passport through improved service delivery in its operations.

The Minister of Interior, Rafiu Aregbesola disclosed this at the inauguration of Nigeria Immigration passport production centre and passport front office in Ilesa, osun state.

Aregbesola said the surge in the number of applications necessitates the establishment of more passport front offices across the country to make the process seamless.

The Minister stressed that since his Inception at the Ministry of interior, the Nigeria Immigration Service has been repositioned especially in the engendering of a passport production system and process that is in compliance with global best practices in technology.

The Controller General, Nigeria Immigration Service, Isah Idris, commended efforts of the Ministry of Interior for providing transformational leadership and making sure Nigerians are able to easily access the Passport and other services.

Meanwhile, the State Governor in his address, Ademola Adeleke appreciate Aregbesola for sustaining Progressives family in the state, he promised to complete all abandoned projects by the past administration.
