….Demands Obi Respect Court Judgement Sacking His Candidate
Ahead of the purported visit of Mr. Peter Obi to flag off the governorship campaign of a factional candidate sacked by the court, faction loyal to the candidate who won court judgement against Obi’s candidate are currently protesting in Owerri demanding that Obi to respect the judgement of the court.
Thousands of youths believed to be Labour Party members are, as at the time of filing this report, protesting at the popular IMSU junction in Owerri which is a stone throw away from the venue, Kanu Nwankwo Sports centre, where Obi is expected to attend the campaign flag off functing today.
Carrying placards with various inscriptions like: “Peter Obi Enough is Enough. Athan Achuonu is not a member of LP. Peter Obi You are not a member of LP. Leave our party alone”, the youths chanted riot songs are they marched the streets.
