HEDA Says Successive Nigerian Govts Misappropriated $825b, N1.7tr public funds
The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre), has said that between 1999 and 2022, successive administrations have misappropriated $825 billion and N1.7 trillion of public funds.
The Legal Officer of the centre, David Ogungbesan disclosed this during a protest at the EFCC and ICPC headquarters in Lagos.
The HEDA Resource Centre published a research compilation on February 18, 2023, revealing numerous corruption cases and inquiries that remain open to the courts.
