Breaking: NLC suspends strike aftermath of Tinubu’s intervention
The Nigeria Labour Congress has confirmed the suspension of its planned strike following the intervention of President Bola Tinubu and the Senate.
The resolution was adopted after the Congress’ National Executive Council meeting.
According to the national treasurer of the Union, Hakeem Ambali, the protest was suspended due to the senate intervention and meeting with President Tinubu yesterday.
The President and the labour leaders convened an urgent meeting because of the NLC protest that took place yesterday across the nation, including the Federal Capital Territory.
