President Tinubu Meets Wike, Makinde, Other G5 Members
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s ‘G5 governors’ on Tuesday evening at the Aso Villa in Abuja.
The president’s chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, also attended the meeting with the G5 group.
The G5 group consists of former governors Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Samuel Ortom (Benue), and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
Although the specifics of the meeting were hazy at the time this report was filed, it was learned that the president and the previous governors discussed how to work together.
