Israel-Hamas: Gaza War Death Toll Reaches 13,000
The Hamas authority in Gaza announced on Sunday that the death toll from fighting between Israeli troops and Hamas militants in the Palestinian territory had reached 13,000 since the war began on October 7.
According to the Hamas government, 30,000 more people were wounded, and over 5,500 children were among the dead, along with 3,500 women. Its health ministry has previously stated that, because of the fierce fighting, it cannot provide precise numbers of casualties.
However, a spokesperson for the White House stated on Sunday that it was investigating the horrific explosion that occurred at a school and shelter in northern Gaza that the UN manages.
