A number of beautiful ladies will contest for the coveted Miss Universe Nigeria crown later this year.
The contestants began the race to the Queen’s stool on July 27 via an online screening and now warm up for the physical screening slated for August 18.
According to the organisers, Silverbird Group, the screening will produce the finalists that will file out for the maiden pageantry later this year.
The winner will be decorated with diamond crown and also represent the country on the world stage for the Miss Universe.
In an exclusive interview with the president of the Silverbird Group, Miss Universe Nigeria was a category of award in the popular Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria until lately.
He says that the Miss Universe now stands as a separate entity where beauty, intelligence elegance will be celebrated.
While it was under MBGN, one Miss Montana Felix won the award in 2022.
The Miss Universe Nigeria 2022 full name is Montana Onose Felix.
