Osun Osogbo festival: devotees, visitors arrive at grand finale
Visitors and Osun-Osogbo Festival fans have arrived at the venue for the grand conclusion of the 2023 Annual Osun-Osogbo Festival.
The Nigeria Hunters and Forest Security Service has also deployed 700 personnel to protect the event.
The yearly celebration is anticipated to come to an end on Friday with a virgin maiden leading a group of believers and devotees to the groove to converse with the gods and perform other sacrifices.
As they sing and exhibit their distinct cultural identities, masqueraders, local drummers, hunters, and Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) members are also included.
