Ten years after the privatization of the power sector, the federal government has threatened to revoke the licenses of companies whose performance falls below standard.
The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu stated this in Abuja, at the tenth anniversary marking the privatization of Nigeria’s Power sector.
The government also decried the crisis in the sector, noting that there are over 90 million Nigerians who lack access to electricity.
