Super Eagles interim coach, Finidi George blamed the team’s loss to Eagles of Mali on the unavailability of some his strikers in the warm-up game on Tuesday night.

Super Eagles under the tutelage of Finidi George on Friday beat Ghana in their first international friendly match after the African Nations Cup but could not repeat same performance as they lost 0-2 to Mali on Tuesday night in Marrakech, Morocco.

Speaking with NFF TV, Finidi whose win over Ghana boosted his chances of becoming the substantive Eagles Coach said lack of option in the attack forced them to play wide leading to their loss to Eagles of Mali.

African Best player, Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface were not part of the friendly matches due to injury.
